What Is Aurduino

Aurduino is a basic prototyping platform for all ages. Aurduino is a programmable microcontroller board which helps you control servos, switches, motors, liquid displays and a lot more components. Aurduino is a computer which you program which can sense more than the normal everday curcuits can. The Aurduino has a simple ADK on their website (Aurduino.cc) with a download for mac and windows. The Aurduino comes with a 8 bit micrcontroler, 512 mb of ram, atmel ATMEGA368P processor and a vga display output. Aurduino's special ADK's can be expanded by C# and C++ libraries. Rob Mullins says ,"The idea behind a tiny and affordable computer for kids came in 2006, when Eben Upton, Jack Lang and Alan Mycroft, based at the University of Cambridge’s Computer Laboratory, became concerned about the year-on-year decline in the numbers and skills levels of the A Level students applying to read Computer Science."~ Dhruv
